Ayrshire authors have produced some of Scotland’s finest books, cementing the historic county of Ayrshire, Scotland as a hotbed of creative talent in the literary history of the world. I am fortunate to find myself now living in Ayrshire and i’m inspired by the other authors who were born, lived or wrote some of their most famous novels here.
